Mark Black

Mark Black - Consulting4ContractorsMark is a high energy, fun loving coach that loves the process of growth and achieving goals once thought unimaginable.

An entrepreneur at heart, Mark grew and sold his first company by the age of 17. He met his wife Nicole in college and decided to start a painting company a few years later. This company scaled quickly and taught many lessons about life and business that Mark now utilizes in his coaching and teaching. Preferring to work in the Emerging Paint Company category, Mark specializes in encouraging and challenging the $500,000-$1.5M business owners to let go, rely on worthy team members, and achieve more by letting go.

Mark brings an energy to the team by being a forever optimist, and seeing opportunity even in the darkest of circumstances. Often our greatest struggles and times of intense pain are where we grow the most.

Together Nicole and Mark live in Southern Illinois and enjoy raising 5 children, along with a menagerie of goats, chickens, fish, turtles, and a dog. They understand the challenges and dangers associated with work/life balance as well as working closely with a spouse in a family business.

A good coach is always a good listener. Mark takes the time to truly understand and hear his clients so that he can best serve them by focusing on the true heart of the matter. A true friend will carefully, but honestly, tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Mark understands that truth can be painful but is always worth the work.
